NEW! Virtual Soul Box-making gatherings

Physical distancing doesn’t have to mean social distancing. Our team has come up with some creative ways to stay connected during the COVID-19 crisis. Join us as we come together online to share experiences and build community. Zoom allows us to talk to each other in real-time, face-to-face, on our computers, smartphones and tablets. You can also listen and talk with a landline or mobile phone (no video).

It doesn’t take a big investment to produce a moving tribute to a gunfire victim. Some of our most beautiful Soul Boxes were made with recycled or repurposed paper, newspapers, catalogs and treasures found around the house. We’ll start with upcycling as our focus – but who knows where our discussion will lead?

Poetry is a balm for troubled hearts and minds.  Celebrate National Poetry Month by combining poetry with folding Soul Boxes. Bring your poems or compose them as we fold. No need to follow the haiku form.  Any short group of words expressing your feelings is a good addition to a Soul Box.

Your health and well-being are important to us. As we deal with the changing situation surrounding  the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, our work towards ending the gunfire epidemic is impacted. Still, we can continue folding Soul Boxes and connecting as we shelter in place. Watch our social media and newsletters for creative ideas on how to connect, including the virtual Soul Box-making gatherings listed here.
